Free Two-Day Grant Writing Workshop

The City of Tallahassee, in partnership with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), will offer a two-day grant writing workshop on September 19-20. This workshop will help those who work in the fields of housing, development and redevelopment learn the basics of grant writing, as well as finding and applying for grants related to Housing and Urban Development programs.
The Capacity Building and Grant Writing Workshop will be held in the City Commission Chambers, second floor, City Hall, 300 South Adams Street. It is being offered free of charge to anyone interested in community and economic development programs, including nonprofits, for-profit businesses and individuals. Information presented in this workshop will help those interested in securing federal resources.
Participants will learn how to develop strategies that bring resources together, leverage and build community assets and effectively implement programs.
