TPD Makes Burglary Arrests (Updated 11/29/18)

On November 26, 2018, TPD responded to a burglary near the 4000 block of Gearhart Road. While standing outside awaiting officers, the victim observed Xavier McMillan and Landon Wilson in the parking lot whom he believed committed the burglary. The victim confronted Xavier McMillan. During the confrontation, McMillan retrieved a handgun and pointed it in the direction of the victim before fleeing the scene.
Later that afternoon officers located Xavier McMillan at his residence while in the company of Landon Wilson. After obtaining a search warrant for the residence, over 70 items of stolen property from various burglaries were recovered. Several of these items were firearms, to include the one used during the aggravated assault.
Both Xavier McMillan and Landon Wilson were charged with Burglary and transported to the Leon County Detention Facility for booking.
This case has been assigned to the Burglary Crimes Unit with additional charges forthcoming.

As the investigation continues TPD's Burglary and Robbery Unit Investigators have identified Xavier McMillian as the suspect in two additional burglaries and one robbery. Investigators are continuing to review collected evidence and will have additional charges forthcoming. Xavier McMillian remains in the Leon County Detention Facility.
