TPD Makes Multiple Arrests at Illegal Gambling House

On Nov. 19, the Tallahassee Police Department served a search warrant as part of an ongoing investigation into illegal gambling at 2418 North Monroe Street. The search warrant led to the arrest of multiple subjects for gambling and keeping a gambling house.
TPD's Special Investigation Section, with assistance from its Violent Crimes Response Team, served the search warrant following an investigation stemming from community complaints and a recent call for service in reference to a store employee allegedly pointing a firearm at someone.

- Charles Ricker, 59, for keeping a gambling house.
- Emma Dorsey, 71, for gambling
- Denise Mathis, 55, for gambling
- Irish Johnson, 54, for gambling
